Band biography
Seance photo
Seance was a Swedish death metal band that formed in March 1990 when two other local bands called Orchriste and Total Death split up because of members having to go through military service. The name Seance was taken from an old Orchriste song. In December 1990 the band played their first gig together with Merciless, Toxaemia and others. Their second gig they did was as an opener for Disharmonic Orchestra. In August 1991 the band released their first demo called "Levitised Spirit". In 1995 both Patrik and Bino left the band and moved to Gothenburg. In 1998 they were about to record a new album but they probably broke up sometime during that year.
