Year 1995...
- the period when the new creation named SHADOWS LAND comes into being. February 1997... SHADOWS LAND records a debut demo "EPITAPH". The recording session takes place in Selani Studio, with help of the producer - Andrzej Bomba. The music that appears on the demo is heavy Death-Doom metal. The cassette is released at band's expense... "Epitaph" gains recognition of underground press and metal fans in Poland as well as abroad...
Year 1999...
New face of the band is showed. SHADOWS LAND has never been in such a good shape before, what is proved by recording PROMO'99 in August 1999. Recording session again takes place in Selani Studio. Andrzej Bomba once more takes part in the process of recording. As far as music is concerned the new material differs much from the debut demo "EPITAPH". This is the material of inspired moment, which brings aggressive, dark and brutal Death metal. One of the pieces - "Smell of Pain" - appears on the Trash'em All magazine compilation - "Blood To Come".
Year 2000...
Demonic Records releases Promo'99 on the album called "Smell of Pain" together with MESS AGE music.
It is also the time of changes in the Shadows Land's lineup. Young drummer J.Nerexo (Death Certificate, Torquemada) joins the band as well as Pith (Perverse) takes the post of the bass player. The first concert that band gives with the new lineup is during "DEVIL'S NIGHT 2000" festival in Wejherowo. After that, Shadows Land gives a lot of gigs in Poland as well as in other countries.
Shadows Land has performed with bands like DISGORGE (Mexico), SUDDEN DEATH (Germany), PROFANITY (Germany), REQUIEM (Switzerland), TRAUMA, DEVILIN, MISTERIA, MEDEBOR, YATTERING... During the DYING ART OPEN AIR FESTIVAL the band gives concert with KRABATHOR, PANDEMIA, HATE, WITCHMASTER, ESQARIAL and many other considerable artists. In April 2002 Shadows Land takes part in HELLISH DAMNED TOUR with bands like SUDDEN DEATH (Germany), REQUIEM (Switzerland) Perverse, Medebor and others. In May 2002 the band performs as a headliner during the second edition of "BRAMY HADESU" festival in Cracow. Shadows Land has also planned to perform on Smash Fest. However, because of the reasons that did not depend on the band, the performance didn't take place!
