Band biography
Sinphonia photo
The Danish progressive gothic metal band Sinphonia was formed in 1998 by drummer Dennis and bassist Thor after the split-up of the progressive rock band Aura. Soon after vocalist Monika joined after having responded to some flyers they went into the studio to record a mini album and also hooked up with Intromental Management. In the summer of 2000 their manager went to Italy to try and get the band signed to an Italian label which worked out and they became part of the Lucretia Records family. After two full-length albums the band officially split up in June 2003. The band was officially restarted by the vocalist and the guitarist in late February 2004.
