Slapdash was formed in the mid 90s by former members of the Swedish thrash metal act Rosicrucian. They changed musical direction and took in influences from more hardcore sounding metal bands such as Pantera and Meshuggah. The band have recorded covers of bands like Stormtroopers Of Death ("Kill Yourself") and disco act En Vogue ("Free Your Mind"). The band probably broke up in 1997.
