The Swedish death metal band Sorcery was formed in the summer of 1986 by the three main members of a band called Acid Queen found a new drummer and another guitarist. Their line-up changed many times but they recorded a couple of demos and in 1989 their third demo led to a deal with a French label for one EP. In October 1991 the two members Ola and Mikael formed a new band called "Fear My Solitude" and soon after that Mikael left Sorcery. Again lots of line-up changes followed, another demo, several gigs and not until 1997 was there another release from the band when they appeared with one song ("Inhabitants") of the "Voices Of Death" compilation album. In April 1992 the band played a live show with Dismember in Gävle and the day after they recorded a new demo with three songs called "Mass Murder" which was never released. Paul decided to leave Sorcery in 1997 as well and the band was no more. Fredrik Nygren quite the band several times but always returned until 1992. He has since went on to play with Ashram and several hardcore bands.
