Since 1996, Sparzanza have been around to deliver heavy music to the people. The band started out with the four friends, Calle Johannesson, his brother David, Peter Eriksson and Anders Åberg. Andreas Kloss joined on bassguitar.
The band recorded their first 7"ep "Wheeler Dealer" and released it in early 1997 before the band found a new bassplayer in Johan Carlsson.
After a few more eps, compilations and touring Peter Eriksson left the band and the band found the great voice of Fredrik Weileby.
A demo was recorded, just to try out the new singer, and the result was so good that the songs ended up on the "I love you...both" ep that Water Dragon Records released in the year 2000.
After this release it was time to record the first album. Entitled "Angels Of Vengeance" it was released through Water Dragon Records in 2001 and got good reviews all over the world. The band got to play some of the biggest festivals in Sweden, and the ball was starting to roll.
After a session with Peter Dolving (singer in The Haunted) as a producer the band started to look for a decent studio to record the 2nd album. As Dolving´s goal with the band was not what Sparzanza was looking for the band turned to Rikard Löfgren.
Löfgren produced the bands 2nd album "Into The Sewers" which was released in september 2003. This album was a big step up for the band, and they got to tour in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Belgium and France. The album got tremenous reviews all over the world.
In early 2006 the band started to record the 3rd album "Banisher Of the Light". Again the band choose Rikard Löfgren to produce, but this time the band, along with Löfgren, worked harder to get the songs better.
Late october 2006 the album was finished, but since the band wanted to release the album on Black Cult Records , their own label, the album will not be released until early 2007.
On this album Sparzanza has 2 guests; Peter Dolving from The Haunted, and Ralf Gyllenhammar from Mustasch, both doing additional vocals.
