Band biography

SPIRIT DISEASE is a death/thrash metal band from Espoo, Finland formed in September 2002. The band consists of 4 very experienced players, whose roots are deep in the true old underground scene of the late Eighties/early Nineties. The band was created out of the need of getting back to their roots of simple yet brutal style of playing. To hell with all the technicality and melodies. Welcome to the world of pure velocity, power and true underground spirit. Experience the beauty of noise! Extreme Metal for extreme people! Heavier than a pregnant elephant! Literally.

WARNING: There's nothing "politically correct" or commercial or even *progressive" here. Just METAL and ONLY metal with screamy/growly vocals. If that is not what you were looking for why don't you just FUCK OFF AND DIE. There's none of that tree-hugging hippie crap here.

NEWS: On 24th of March 2004 a compilation CD called "Demonstration Of Penetration" was released by VIOLENT JOURNEY RECORDS and we're on it too with "Sadistic Belated Abortion". It's a really good compilation featuring 25 Finnish underground metal bands.
