Stonecrow was formed in the autumn of 1995 under the name Disharmony. They played some kind of light-grunge since their vocalist was a big fan of the popular Seattle bands. It didn't take long before they changed their name to Stonecrow. In March 1996 they entered a real studio to record a demo cassette and they also did a video for one of the songs. Their music grew softer all the time and when the vocalist started to write Finnish lyrics they sounded like a Finnish alternative pop / rock band. The band broke up in the spring of 1997.
