Starting out at the end of '89,by founding regurgitator
Johan and skull basher Paul, Suhrim soon developed it's monstrous brand of
sickly and above all, pounding death metal. It took the band several
years to come to their definite form, as the band have been crushing
skulls as a 2 man commando for a long period ,(Johan & Bart)giving them the
surname of 'The Antwerp Mortician'. Finally the band was completed in
its sickness, and their last demo 'Gore is the end'. Got recorded at the
Cavern studios (Antwerp) in January 2000. This showed a more mature and
brutal Suhrim than ever before....Inhuman blasts twirling into stomping
grooves, with a sickening touch of characteristic humor,that is all
what SUHRIM is about. All delivered in a unique and crushing wall of
sound, which is definitely placing Suhrim above the mediocre death metal
acts. Now these maniacs have inked a deal with newly founded HYBRED
RECORDS for their debut full length album 'Unidentified Flying Bodyp!
arts', also recorded at the Cavern studios. This can be stated as a
monument of pure devastating death, taking back your metal melted minds
into the first era of Gorefest/Ill disposed, yet with their own
blistering sound and taking it one step further to grindinsanity and
BRUTALITY!!! U.F.B. will crush your stereo & grind your mamma's butt to pieces!
Also now the brutality keeps on going, we re-enforced drummer and
co-founder Paul back on drums and recorded a new piece of intense insanity
'Old scars, fresh wounds' a split, recorded again in the 'Cavern studios'.
This will crush your speakers and make you're pets run of. A new
dimension of sickness will spread into your rooms!!! Former lead guitarplayer
Bart Vergaert (Aborted), left the band to concentrate more on Aborted,
new member Jeroen Vingerhoed replaces him on this empty spot. Suhrim is
back at full force to once more hit youre mama and blow youre speakers.
