Band biography Upload photo
When returning home from the second "Bleeding" tour with Psychotic Waltz, Steve Cox joined his old band DFA and played local shows in the San Diego area. After a few months Norm Leggio joined the band on drums which resulted in them changing the name to Teabag and released a self-titled demo cd in mid 1998. The disc included reworked versions of Psychotic Waltz riffs that Norm and Steve had written along with some new material. During the next year they opened up for many bands who passed through San Diego on their tours. In mid 1999 they added another guitarist and in early 2000 their original vocalist Phil left the band to be replaced by Ron Lerma who Norm and Steve came across when he played with his Iron Maiden triute band Piece Of Mind. Their original bass player and second guitarist left the band before they even had a live set together. In August 2000 the German guitarist Sebastian Schult joined the band as he was studying in San Diego at the moment. He stayed with the band for about seven months before returning home. Blue Meannie Records was actually a record store in San Diego owned by Norm Leggio.
