In late January 2005 it was announced that a brand new act called Enemy Of God had been assembled by former Slayer / Testament drummer Jon Dette, ex-Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, Killing Machine guitarist Peter Scheithauer and 13-A vocalist Todd Barnes. In April they had changed their name to Temple Of Brutality and replaced Jon Dette with W.A.S.P. drummer Stet Howland. The music was said to follow a very aggressive direction in the vein of Slayer and Pantera. By late July they had finished their debut album "Lethal Agenda". They also shot a video for the album's title cut with director Fabio Jafet, who has previously produced/directed the "Waking Up Dead" documentary starring former SAIGON KICK/SKID ROW drummer Phil Varone. In late July the band signed a European deal with the UK based label Demolition Records.
