Thorr's Hammer was a project band from several musicians with previous band experiences. They had a female growler called Runhild Gammelsaeter who used to be the girlfriend of Emperor's Ihsahn. They recorded only one mini album in two evenings. They played very heavy and slow death/doom metal with Norwegian lyrics written by Runhild. The band only existed in 1994 and 1995. Their only recording "Dommedagsnatt" (Doomsday Night) was originally only released on cassette by Moribund Records but was re-released as an MCD in 1998 by Southern Lord Records.
