Bernie Tormé is an Irish guitarist who played with bands like Wormwood and Urge before relocating to London and forming Scrapyard in 1976. Eventually he struck out on his own and formed The Bernie Tormé Band. The debut solo album "Turn Out The Lights" was released by Kamaflage Records in 1982. The same year he temporarily joined Ozzy Osbourne as a replacement for Randy Rhoads for an American tour which he left from after only two weeks. For some time in the early and mid 80s he used the monicker Electric Gypsies as the band name.
