| Band biography |
The band’s debut took place at the “Gaudeamus” International Festival in Braşov, where Anna won the special award for the “Best Vocalist in a Group”. The next recital was at a Halloween party, followed by a mention received at the “JoyArt” International Festival. The real concert debut was on the 27th of January 2007, in a “Rock Marathon” in Braşov with other 4 Romanian bands (Seven, Rising Shadow, Loudrage and Katharsis). The band’s performance was pointed out in a concert chronicle of a big Romanian rock magazine, called “Maximum Rock Magazin”. Short appearances on local TV shows also helped promoting TRUE MIND.
Another important moment for TRUE MIND was the event called “The Days of Braşov City”, that took place in the biggest square in the city, between the 13th and the 15th of April 2007, in front of more than 1500 people. Broadcasted live on a local television, this successful concert was a big promotion opportunity. Unfortunately, this was the last concert with Ştefan on Guitars, who left the band for personal reasons. The departure was friendly, but the effects were really bad. The searches for a new guitarist lasted for more than three months, until Horia joined TRUE MIND. With a new spirit in the band and the willing to work hardly, they united forces and composed new songs.
In July 2007, the song “Angel Or Sin” was included on the CD “Support for the Underground” of the “Maximum Rock Magazin. Others concerts followed: Braşov, Zărneşti, Caransebeş (RockLand Fest 3 – first concert “far away from home”), Bucharest and again in Braşov, opening for Krypton, in a great concert.
The 17th of November 2007 was a real important moment in the history of the band. The release of the TRUE MIND’s official website, www.truemind-rock.com , took place within the 4th edition of the International Festival “JoyArt”.
A great concert in Arad city, on the 29th of February gave us a lot of hope for the future.
On the 29th of March 2008, TRUE MIND’s first official video was released. The video of the song “Tainted Angel” consists of live images and graphic elements.
This song is also the first track on the debut EP, “No More Silence”, that has been released on the 29th of May 2008. The disc has 4 tracks, 4 original TRUE MIND songs, with previews on our official website, www.truemind-rock.com and on our mySpace page, www.myspace.com/truemindrock
