The British heavy metal band Tytan was formed in September 1981 by former Angel Witch members Dave Dufort and Kevin Riddles. An EP was released in 1982 and their one and only full-length album followed in 1985. The band had however already split up in 1983 as Simon Wright auditioned for and joined AC/DC. Vocalist Kal Swan relocated to Los Angeles, California, and formed the highly successful melodic metal / rock band Lion. Their album was re-released by Majestic Rock in February 2004.
