Uncreation photo
Uncreation was formed in autumn 2003 of three members of the death metal band "Devastator". Their aim was to create songmaterial which didn't really fit into the concept of "Devastator" (brutal and technical death metal). One day after the band was formed (Stefan - Bass, Eggi - Drums, Holle - Guitars) second guitarist Florian was added and one month later vocalist André completed the line-up. The band used the following months for songwriting and practising since on 7.2.2004 they played their first gig on Stefan's (bass) birthday together with 3 other bands (Soulforger, Anguished, Tollwut) from Hamburg in JUZ Reinbek. They left the crowd quite impressed and met many of them again on their next gig two weeks later with Devastator. During the next 6 months Uncreation spent lots of time at their rehearsal place, working on new songs. Slowly they found their own style: before there were more thrashy riffs in their sound but now more melodic elements were added and some higher vocal parts were added to André's deep growling to make the lyrics better understandable. On August 27th 2004 the next gig took place. Again supported by Devastator and Neander, Uncreation celebrated Holle's birthday with a headliner gig at Café Flop in Bergedorf. The venue was completely filled that night. It was similar one month later as Uncreation played at Logo, supported by Anguished and Barritus. More gigs and a demo-recording are planned for the future.
