Vesania exists since the end of the 1997. At that time the line-up was:
Daray - drums and percussion, Heinrich - bass and Orion - guitars and
voices. As the time passed, it came out that there is a need to expand.
Thus joined Hatrah - keys (the first recording - reh tape comes from
that period) and then Annahvahr - guitars and voices. The end of 1998 was
a time of recording fifteen minutes long studio material, which had
become 'cd promo 1999'. Not long after that band had to take up the
decision of putting keys into studio instrumentation. The position was vacant
for a long time until fall 2000, when new keymaster - Siegmar - joined
the band. The band performed in several cities in Poland and as far as
performing is concerned, band think of the live expresion as the very
important part of art. All that time, simoultaneously, Vesania is
working on material for a full lenght album. Then, in the beginning of 2002,
the material from 1998 has been released by Odium records as the
'Moonastray' limited edition split cd with Black Altar.
The breakthrough of 2001/2002 Vesania set up for the recording session,
but later on it appeared to take more time than members have expected
and it delayed untill spring 2002. The 'Firefrost Arcanum' debut lp was
released on january 2003 together with the Thrash'em all magazine.
Album had very good revievs in the underground and overground press. In the
september 2003 Vesania plays on tour with polish death metal gods -
Vader.
In May 2005 they signed a new deal with the Austrian label Napalm Records.
