Wan Long Kok formed in early 1999 in Brunei as a 2 piece-band then called Seed consisting of current drummer Adi Elmi and his cousin/bassist Dinny Ghafar. Elmi's brother, Razi Sharbini, soon joined the band after a few months of guitar school. The following year, they recruited 2 more guitarists, cousins Afiy Bustamam and Kasyfi Rahman. With the current line up of 3 guitarits, 1 bassist and 1 drummer, Wan Long Kok has steadily cultivated a small following in the Brunei Underground music scene. With each member adding in a music style of their own, Wan Long Kok has a distinct and unique sound that could be mistaken as a cross between Primus and Linkin Park.
