The British hard rock band Waysted was formed by former UFO bassist and songwriter Pete Way in 1982 after a brief creation called Fastway and a British tour as part of the Ozzy Osbourne band. A contract was quickly signed with Chrysalis Records and in 1983 they released their debut album "Vices". In 1984 the band supported Dio on his European tour. After their 1986 album "Save Your Prayers" they opened up for Status Quo on several European dates before going on tour with Iron Maiden in North American in 1987. A one-off show in Tel-Aviv, Israel, also took place together with Marillion and Alvin Lee.
