Witchfynde photo
The British band Witchfynde was formed in Mansfield, England, in 1976 and were one of the first heavy metal bands with Satanic lyrics. They were one of the leading bands in the NWOBHM movement back then and signed a deal with Rondolet Records in 1980 which eventually led to a support slot for Def Leppard on tour. Several line-up changes took place around 1983 / 1984 and in 1986 they finally split up. Due to a growing interest for the band they reunited in 1999 and have since released a new album and played several European festivals.
