Band biography
Wynjara photo
The initial concept of Wynjara began in the summer of '95 when J.P. Soars (Divine Empire/ ex-Malevolent Creation) and Jason Morgan got together to jam. Their mutual respect and love of music led the way to a few songs being written in a matter of days. Deciding to capitalize on their prolific musical partnership, they recorded a 6-song demo that eventually found its way into the hands of Nocturnal Art Productions. In the summer of 2000 Wynjara recorded its debut self-titled album with the addition of Mike Moreno on bass.

After 4 long years, J.P. and Jason got back together to finally record their sophomore outing "Human Plague" with the addition of Brooks Rose on vocals. The band has diversified their sound while maintaining their aggressive level of brutality and musicianship. The end result is a much more focused and powerful recording that at the same time still holds true to their musical roots. Now, with a complete line-up, Wynjara will continue to push the boundaries of Death Metal without restraints or limits.
