1998 was the year everything started for French metal band X-VISION. Born as a high school band, the quintet grew up within a few years to one of the most promising band in their own country, leading them to explore new territories for their upcoming 2007 new album.
In 2002, the “[CONFUSED]” EP was the first X-VISION nation-wide release, instantly welcomed by encouraging acclaim. The band was soon labelled as one of the most exciting metal band within the French music scene (ROCKSOUND). X-VISION then doubled the wins with ROADRUNNER’s “Onde de Choc” contest in 2002 and 2003, using street promotion and an intense series of live appearances. X-VISION opened shows for PRONG, GOJIRA and SLYTHERIN, and tours for months in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. The [CONFUSED] EP quickly sold out in record stores…
With a stronger confidence in their ability, X-VISION pushed forward with the release of their full length sophomore album “TIME OF THE NEW SLAVERY” in may 2004 (SLALOM MUSIC). Produced and mixed by LOUDLBLAST leader Stephane Buriez, the result is an amazing blend of raw and clear energy that really fits the band’s own metallic sound. This record once again received praise from the music press, and soon got airplays on independent French, Belgian and Swiss TV and radios. The assault of this record catapulted X-VISION into a frenzy, touring alongside bands such as ANTHRAX, LOUDBLAST and GOJIRA, revealing themselves as a powerful live band. The stage is where the band’s music really turns into a new dimension, and shows at major festivals like the EUROCKEENES DE BELFORT, DOUR FESTIVAL or FURY FEST convinced each and every new audience. During this relentless touring period, “TIME OF THE NEW SLAVERY” expanded its coverage in foreign territories such as Switzerland (Irascible) and Canada (PHD).
Now the time has come for the next chapter of X-VISION. Motivated by so many positive experiences, the band grew even more and progressed to a new kind of intensity in their music. The 11 tracks from their new album are written with care and passion, far from the genre’s clichés. Solid rhythmics, devastating blast beats and massive riffs are now totally devoted to an organic music, with singer Pierre taking everyone by surprise with his powerful voice and sense for catchy hook lines, but at the same time bringing listeners to a new depth of emotion...

Sincerity is what brings music to a higher level, you can rest assured that as long as X-VISION remains a band, this will continue to be a leitmotiv, discovering previously uncharted territory and taking a sledgehammer to break new grounds !
