They present swedish influenced, melodic neckbreaker-riffs with varied passages and the guys don..t mind playing together in three voices. Bands as Killswitch Engage, In Flames and even Iron Maiden come to the listeners.. mind. XENESTHIS spice up there music with changes of tempo, while the rhythm sections keeps it tight and inflames real fireworks.
Not only that female leadsinging is an innovation in modern Metal and Metalcore- frontlady Katrin Bernhardt manages due to her dark and distinctive voice to shoot a lot of emotion- from desperate to seductive, from raging to fragile- right to the listerner..s heart. With the hardcoreshouts of her male bandmates, XENESTHIS combine a maximum of melody with an enormous portion of aggression.
XENESTHIS take their listeners through an emotional roller coaster ride- they combine extremes in an exquisitely harmonic way. They are fresh and exciting- as life itself is.
BIOGRAPHY
In 2004, the five friends decided to persue their concerted passion and founded XENESTHIS. This name describes a sort of tarantula. There EP “Straight to Infinity” gained awesome reviews all over Europe. In 2006 XENESTHIS recorded there EP “Shades”. The recordlabel noiseheadrecords got interested in them and XENESTHIS singned to them in March 2007.
The time before, the band established a good reputation as a live band. The highlight 2006 poses their performance at Metalcamp in Tolmin/ Slovenia. They celebrated a stunning show with an amazing international crowd. In 2007 XENESTHIS shared the stage with following bands: AS I LAY DYING, NEAERA, AS WE FIGHT, DO OR DIE, CATARACT, J.B.O., APOKALYPTISCHE REITER, PAIN, GOTTHARD and with many more.
Their debut- album „sick of pitch- black“ is out now and ready to blow you away.
