Zoo Army doesn't follow the usual record industry hype (BS if you know what I mean) In fact they revolt against it! The result? High energy, emotional lyrics and a huge sound. It is fresh and honest hard rock with a range that ties you in from the 1st track to the last track. Listen to the album...
Zoo Army was founded in early 2005 and all 4 musicians had their own success before joining together. Lead singer Gil has had worldwide success for over 10 years as a solo artist and has 5 million record sells to prove it! He is known for his high energy shows and was even asked personally by Jon Bon Jovi to support his stadium tour in 2003...are you kidding me? Of course he accepted with Tal also... Ok let's talk about Tal. Tal is Gil's brother and a very important part of the band as a bass player and he sings perfect harmonies to Gil's vocals. You have to see this guy play!!!
I can't count on one hand the number of bass players in Tal's world. Not to mention that both Gil and Tal play...and play well I might add...just about any musical instrument invented. It's not unusual in rehearsal to see Gil or Tal on drums, guitar, bass and even keyboards, just having a great time! Listen to the album...
Dominik has had his own success and is a well known drummer. Before joining Zoo Army he was last with the rock band of artist Joachim Deutschland. Roland has tons of stage experience as a guitarist and is a big enrichment to Zoo Army.
These guys all knew each other but it took some time to unite Zoo Army. They have been through the whole music circus from A to Z. They have a clear plan of the direction of their artistic future. Listen to the album... With the release of "507" Zoo Army makes a clear sign that they think outside the box! With pure hard rock songs like "Change" or Take Me Away" or "Broken" or the very personal softer songs like "Feel" and "Fading", it is easy to see that you cannot put Zoo Army in only one category. This band has something for everyone. Listen to the album...
As Gil say's "forget the talk and let the music speak for itself" Tal adds "In a band where 4 guys are helping each other we can be as strong as an Army" Dominik adds "it felt right from the start to play in this band" and Roland says "We have never let the fire burn out. Zoo Army is 4 musicians all with past success striving for a common goal" The goal: Music cannot be tamed and neither can Zoo Army! This band is for everyone.
