dISEMBOWELMENT formed sometime in the early 90’s, and released only one full album, Transcendence Into the Peripheral, in 1993. The Australian band has often been quoted as one of the pioneers in doom/death metal, and for good reason. Almost every successful doom metal band now has traces of dISEMBOWELMENT.
The band broke up after their single recording. Gallina and Skarajew went on to form Trial of the Bow, which was a very non-metal band. Kells formed a stoner/doom band called Firebird in the late 90’s which is now known as Southern Cross.
