Neurot Recordings proudly unveil a brand new live album from NEUROSIS, who are undoubtedly cited as one of the most influential bands of heavy music's experimental underworld.

The first release from NEUROSIS since 2007’s Given to the Rising, this new live album was recorded that same year in Tilburg, Holland, at the annual Roadburn Festival, where NEUROSIS headlined to a diehard audience. The album expertly captures as much of the band's live experience as one possibly could on a physical recording, harnessing the monolithic flow and power of the band's well-known sonically devastating live performances. The monstrous 78-minute record showcases this iconic band surging through hymns from their last few albums, including Given To The Rising, The Eye Of Every Storm, A Sun That Never Sets, and Through Silver In Blood.

Live At Roadburn will see official release on August 30, 2010, alongside the reissue of NEUROSIS' groundbreaking 1993 release Enemy Of The Sun. The 'Roadburn release features the iconic artwork/layout skills of visionary artist/NEUROSIS live visual master Josh Graham, also responsible for the redesigned Enemy Of The Sun layout. Both albums will be released on CD worldwide August 30th, 2010, part of this year's celebration of the 25th anniversary of the legendary act.

Enthroned North American tour update

Belgian black metal legion ENTHRONED will return to North America for the first time in nine years this August! The US/Canadian leg of the Pentagrammaton World Tour 2010 will begin in Brooklyn, New York at Europa and bludgeon its way through nearly two dozen cities before winding down at the Hostile City Deathfest in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 29. Support will come from Australian black thrashers Deströyer 666 as well as Black Anvil, Estuary and Cardiac Arrest on select dates. The Italy based band Broken Melody want to let you know that they have signed a new management contract for Brazil with ZIV PRODUCTIONS. The band will tour Brazil in 2011 after the USA tour that will start in november 2010.

Non Opus Dei sign with Witching Hour

New addition to Witching Hour Productions catalogue is Non Opus Dei, originating from Olsztyn, one of the most interesting acts in avant-garde black metal genre. Several weeks ago band put final touches to their first new album in three years.

Recording session started in Bat Studio in Olsztyn where drums were recorded under supervision of Szymon Czech (Nyia, Third Degree) who produced the whole album. Later the band moved to his private studio to record guitar tracks. They finished work at Studio X recording bass and vocals, and returned to Szymon’s studio for mix and mastering. Album was entitled “Eternal Circle” and will hit the stores in September 2010.

“Eternal Circle” is 30 minutes of fast, unique, avant-garde black metal. On their Myspace page (www.myspace.com/nonopusdeipoland ) you can already listen to the first song entitled “The Prisoner Of The Worlds”. On the lyrical side, the concept will be based on the theory of never-ending cycle which cannot be broken. The same cycle that Nietzsche was told by his Demon.

The band comments on new label and new album: “Our first album for Witching Hour will be underlining band’s legacy, and following the path once chosen. Ultrafast drums parts set on the Eternal Circle on its path. However this in not only blast-beats based fast black metal. We focused on the melodic aspect, and most of all on intriguing but consistent arrangements, on guitars playing unusual parts in interesting harmonies… “Eternal Circle” is also the summary of our own ideology and obsession on the concept of never-ending cycle.”

Evergreen Terrace announce temporary drummer

EVERGREEN TERRACE will be joined by Casey Jones drummer Caleb James on their upcoming European dates.

Josh James comments: "Caleb James from Casey Jones is back behind the drums playing with Evergreen Terrace! A lot of you saw Caleb on stage with us on tour in the states and in Europe last summer. We're headed to Europe in a couple weeks to shred a bunch of fests and club shows, afterwards we will be on the second half of Thrash and Burn in the states. Come out and give Caleb a kiss on the lips".

Hailing from Jacksonville, FL Evergreen Terrace has been blazing their own path through the melodic hardcore style for over a decade now. Anchored by guitar player/vocalist Craig Chaney's clean singing and catchy hooks, punctuated by lead singer Andrew Carey's vicious screamed vocals, the five-piece band never depended on anyone but themselves to push their band forward. Rounding out the lineup alongside Andrew and Craig is Josh James (guitar/vocals) as permanent members.

With their blistering combination of melodic hardcore, metal and punk-rock strains, Evergreen Terrace has toured the world with bands like As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Hatebreed, Rise Against, Thursday, Circa Survive, Everytime I Die, Strung Out, Agnostic Front and many more. Colossus sign with Tribunal Records

In their early careers members of COLOSSUS were in several formidable punk rock acts, but thankfully came to their senses and embraced their irrepressible youthful metal roots. Now, armed with guitars and beer they are storming across the tundra of central North Carolina to conquer the world. COLOSSUS sound as if they were actually taking part in the original NWOBHM scene alongside Saxon, Diamond Head, Iron Maiden and Angel Witch in 1982, but cosmically (and fortunately for us) slipped through a wormhole winding up in 2010. Drunk On Blood spiritedly follows on the heels of their debut album, …And The Rift Of The Pan Dimensional Under-Gods, and only further expands on their love of classic heavy metal, fantasy, folklore, zombies, science fiction and ultimately laying waste to any and all who catch their enthusiastic and sweat-filled live shows. Drunk On Blood is for people who like to party and remember what it was like to make music for fun. When listening to Drunk On Blood your knobs most definitely should be cranked to 11.

Exodus announce Australian tour dates

At the beginning of their career, EXODUS gained huge notoriety in the international underground scene as a result of the tape trading community. Their dynamic guitar riffing, adrenaline-inducing drum work, and bloodied live shows made all the difference in the band’s mission to take Bay Area Thrash to a worldwide audience. By 1983, the band line-up included guitarist Rick Hunolt and bassist Rob McKillop and had inspired the likes of Metallica, Testament, Death Angel, and Vio-lence. EXODUS’ debut, the immortal, must-have, undisputed thrash classic Bonded By Blood was released in and a vast tour with Slayer and Venom propelled the band into a household name. Eight albums later, EXODUS still remain at the top of their game, continuing to dominate the charge and showing all in their path what classic metal is about.

These undisputed thrash metal legends are on their way to smash Australian and New Zealand for their first headlining tour in these parts of the globe. EXODUS promise us another lesson in violence with a thrashing master class in heart-racing, eyebrow-raising, raise-your-fist-in-the-air guitar riffs, rip-tide bass lines, and double-bass flurries.

HEAVY ARTILLERY RECORDS is pleased to announce the signing of Portland, OR heavy metal maniacs SPELLCASTER. Carrying on the proud legacy of Pacific Northwest heavy metal bands before them such as MALICE, METAL CHURCH and WILD DOGS, SPELLCASTER have arrived to prove that traditional heavy metal is alive and well in the USA .

After the breakup of their previous band during late 2008 guitarist Cory Boyd and drummer Shad Covert set out to start a faster, heavier band with which to fulfill their musical desires. After hearing him sing along to GRIM REAPER tracks on his car stereo, frontman Thomas Adams was immediately recruited on vocals. Following months of practice with various temporary bass players coming and going, the band had put together a set list worth of original material and covers. Ready to hit the stage the band found themselves in need of a bass player for an upcoming show. Gabe Franco of SEVENTH GATE was asked to fill in and after a killer performance, subsequently invited to join the permanent line-up. In need of a second guitarist to complete their dual-guitar attack, Tyler Loney joined SPELLCASTER, filling the last piece of the puzzle and completing the band’s line-up.

With a Solid lineup, SPELLCASTER hit the studio in late 2009 to record and self-release their debut three song EP entitled Spells of Speed. Catching the attention of New York genre giants Heavy Artillery Records, the band were offered an opportunity to join the label’s growing roster. Now armed and ready for battle, SPELLCASTER are finalizing the material for their debut album, tentatively scheduled for release in early 2011. Working nonstop to get their music blasting into the ears of bullet belt abusing, beer bashing headbangers worldwide, SPELLCASTER are a band to watch out for throughout 2010/2011.

STYGGELSE (is Swedish for Abomination) was formed in 2004/2005 in Eskilstuna, Sweden, by drummer Skadeglade, bassguitar and vocalist Larsson, lead guitarist Kallbrand and former member Illkvist on guitar.

Their debut mcd “Bland Ändlösa Fält av Snusk & Hor (ie: Among endless fields of filth and depravity)” was released by Baphomet Records / Red Stream in 2006. After the debut mCD the band gained a lot of attention and was interviewed and reviewed in a lot of magazines. The band relocated to Gothenburg after the departure of rhythm guitarist Illkvist, making Larsson taking over the rhythm guitar. A year after relocating to Gothenburg a new bass player Folkilsk (PAGAN RITES, FEAR THE FUTURE) was recruited and they entered Studio Decay in 2007, the result was the infamous recording “MAVSOLVM TELLUS” that was released by Aural Offerings Records on tape in 2008.

Their new bass player Folkilsk made it possible for the band with a full line-up to start doing live performance and they have done gigs abroad in Europe as well as in Sweden. Soon after the same year, they recorded a 3-track demo named “Goatenburg Abominations” and the band was finding the sound that was completed with “HEIR TODAY – GOD TOMORROW”.

In 2009 STYGGELSE signed a record deal with UNEXPLODED RECORDS. The album “HEIR TODAY – GOD TOMORROW” was recorded and mixed by Daniel Kvist (TAETRE) in Studio Decay and mastered by Peter Bjärgö (Tyrant, Arcana, Meanwhile) at Studio Beast. This full length album carries a raw, rough and genuine sound in the music that completes the bands history.

A confirmed North American release date for the massive thirteenth full-length from longtime crossover champions PRO-PAIN, Absolute Power, has been set for later this summer.

To be released in North America this August 10th, 2010 via Regain Records, Absolute Power explores several sides to the tried-and-true American unit's somewhat patented sound. While a vast chunk of the album immediately recalls standard PRO-PAIN NYC-style metal/hardcore crossover attacks, many elements at play on Absolute Power infiltrate totally new ground for the band. Recorded at Little Creek Studio in Gelterkinden, Switzerland, the record features ten thunderous anthems, bridging the gap between the hardcore club and the massive rock arena.

Formed by vocalist/bassist Gary Meskil (ex-Crumbsuckers), New York-based PRO-PAIN have over the years benefited from substantial support from an ever-growing and loyal fanbase as well as metal media and radio. Today, now joined by long term guitarist Tom Klimchuck, as well as newer members Marshall Stephens on rhythm guitar and Ricky Halverson (ex-Narcotic Self, Cellador, Stephen Pearcy's RATT) on drums, the band's worldwide catalog sales approaches one million units.

Plans for the band to tour the US and Europe extensively in support of Absolute Power are beyond imminent, they're a reality, as the band has secured a stack of German dates this summer [see below]. More tour actions are in the planning stages and will be announced shortly.

New Jersey’s ENDER are set to release their Eulogy Recordings debut “This Is Revenge” on July 20th. The album was recorded at Treehouse Studios (Jersey City, NJ) and produced by Weston Kleinknecht. They just posted a new track “Panty Sniffer Does Porn” on their Myspace page which features guest vocals from EMMURE frontman Frankie Palmeri. Pre-order bundle specials are currently available which include free poster and sticker. They will be touring with Above All Fallen and Timelines in July.

After a small stint with another label, the band around scene icon Schmier has made the decision to return to the their label home Nuclear Blast!

Everybody knows that Nuclear Blast was the label that brought back the band with a bang with their comeback album "All Hell Breaks Loose" and the following tour they did with Kreator and Sodom. "Hell comes to your town!" was a huge success for the band as well.

After releasing several more cds and dvds the band decided to try something new, but over the years we have stayed in contact with both Schmier and Mike.

When the time was right, we decided to sit around the table and realized that the future of both DESTRUCTION and Nuclear Blast should be a path we should walk together, and so DESTRUCTION is back home!! At the moment DESTRUCTION are hard at work to seal this deal with their most thrash sounding album for a long time! The future belongs to DESTRUCTION - the mad butcher has returned!!"

Eldorado sign with Spectra Records

Thanks to the recent nominations in prestigious international awards (one of The Best Hard Rock/Metal Album and Song of the year in the USA Independent Music Awards, finalist in the best rock composition category in the USA International Songwriting Competition...) Eldorado got the attention of the music industry. The independent label Spectra Records contacted the band and decided to launch the new album in North America.

Both the label and the band are convinced of the positive reception the album will be having in North America and they are working on the marketing plan for its launch. Under Globe Artist Management and together with Spectra Records, they will organize the album tour presentation in North America and Canada.

In Europe, the album has been launched in May by the label Bad Reputation and after an extensive tour in Spain, Eldorado is presenting it across Europe. The first stop is in Switzerland, in the 19th edition of the Rock Oz’Arčnes Festival, with bands as Status Quo, Monster Magnet, Placebo.

Bordeaux and Paris show dates are already closed and other cities will follow in the next months.

Coroner Records is really proud to announce the upcoming Destrage's second album entitled The King Is Fat'N'Old release.

The album, presented as an hypnotic trip from death metal borderlines to the alternative and experimental music ones, features an incredible technical approach and has been produced, mixed and mastered by Ettore Rigotti at The Metal House Studio (Disarmonia Mundi, Slowmotion Apocalypse, Stigma, etc...).

Keith Caputo sign with FOF Label Group

Life Of Agony frontman Keith Caputo has signed with FOF Label Group/EMI for the North American release of his new solo album, "A Fondness For Hometown Scars". The singer/songwriter's new album will be released through the label on October 10th, 2010, and packaged with a live DVD of Keith Caputo performing with a 15-piece orchestra in Cologne, Germany. One of the biggest voices in rock music today belongs to Life of Agony frontman Keith Caputo. After garnering a massive following with the world famous metal outfit Life Of Agony, Caputo went solo in 1997 to pursue an alternative – but no less intense – musical direction. The past ten years have seen Caputo record seven albums with a who’s who of industry veterans, including bassist and trumpet player Flea (The Red Hot Chili Peppers), guitarist Craig Ross (Lenny Kravitz, Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow), pianist Zac Rae (Fiona Apple, Miley Cyrus, Annie Lennox), producer Martyn Lenoble (Jane’s Addiction, Porno for Pyros, The Cult), and mixer Greg Fidelman (Rage Against The Machine, Marilyn Manson, Johnny Cash).
