On November 18, 2011 EISREGEN are going to release a new EP, called "Madenreich - Ein Stück Rostrot".

It will be available as CD (limited to 2000 pieces, numbered) and 7''(limited to 500 pieces, handnumbered).

The CD will contain the following tracks:

1. Madenreich (Album Version)
2. Madenreich (Edit)
3. Ich, Zombie

According to the band "Madenreich (Album Version)" will not be featured on the 7''.

The 7'' will only be available at the upcoming EISREGEN gigs. A small amount will also be available at the Klangkreis Thüringen web shop.

There are also t-shirts, girlies and zippers planned that feature the EP's artwork.

Vocalist Hotti is leaving the band in upcoming spring due to personal reasons.

The band is really sad about his decision, but they respect it. They wish him all the best for the future and want to thank him for the unbelievable time they had together.

Corrosion of Conformity sign with Candlelight

Candlelight Records today proudly announces the worldwide signing of Corrosion Of Conformity. Since early this year, the band -- featuring the esteemed Animosity line-up of vocalist/bassist Mike Dean, guitarist Woody Weatherman, and drummer/vocalist Reed Mullin -- has been working with long-time producer John Custer. Now nearly complete, their still untitled eighth studio album is planned for release early in the New Year.

Gathering last summer to jam as a trio for the first time in over a decade, the treasured threesome quickly rekindled the magic that originally united and ultimately bound the musicians on a journey that today continues to impress both fans and critics. It is the efforts of this line-up that Decibel Magazine recently called “a crucial stylistic lynchpin in the bridge between metal and punk. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY irrevocably reshaped crossover’s sonic possibilities.” AllMusic.com notes, ”C.O.C. weren’t following any trends. They just incorporated all the things they liked about thrash, punk and ’70s metal originators Black Sabbath into their constantly evolving sound. It secured them artistic and commercial credibility.”

Candlelight’s Steve Beatty says of the signing, “Animosity is one of my favorite records ever. To have C.O.C. on Candlelight with that line-up is simply mouth-watering. I saw the band in London recently and they did not disappoint. This hungry child can’t wait for the record.” Candlelight’s Edward Christie adds, “we are extremely excited to welcome the band to the label and are looking forward to an amazing album. We are all huge fans and this is truly a memorable day for all of us.”

The band shares the excitement the immediate future holds. Woody Weatherman comments, "writing and recording this new record as a three-piece has been a blast. Having Reed back in the fold with Mike and I brings it around full circle. I'm really looking forward to all that lies ahead this upcoming year."

Reed Mullen adds, “Mike, Woody and I essentially learned how to play music together and cultivated our own style, sound, and unspoken language. Re-bonding with them musically has been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me.”

In addition to intense work on the album, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY has kept busy in 2011 touring throughout the US and abroad. One of the main attractions at this year’s Maryland Death Festival, the band mesmerized a salivating capacity audience. Sean Palmerston, editor for Canada’s online magazine Hellbound, said, “I lapped this set up. It was like the tastiest comfort food after a hard day’s work. I haven’t listened to those classic C.O.C. albums in a long, long time. It put a smile on my face.”

Mike Dean says of the new songs, “we have been overdubbing vocals and guitars in between our live dates for the better part of a year. Now it's time to mix. The process we started back in April is finally coming to fruition. The results should reflect all eras of the band's existence filtered through our current reality. This is a beast we can't wait to set free."

Formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1982, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY quickly transformed heavy music. Politically charged and socially aware, the band has influenced countless others and today remains humble about their accomplishments. With over 1.1 million albums sold in the United States alone, the new album will be their first since 2005’s In The Arms Of God. On release, Billboard Magazine called the album a “riff-fueled set that ranks with (the band’s) best work.”

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY will perform with Danzig tonight at the Gibson Ampitheater in Los Angeles. The band’s final performances for 2011 will be alongside Clutch December 27 through 31. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster and venue box offices.

Dimmu Borgir forced to cancel Hamburg show

Norwegian symphonic black metallers DIMMU BORGIR just issued to following statement regarding their upcoming club tour where the band will perform the entire „Enthrone Darkness Triumphant“ album as well as a set of DIMMU classics.

"We are extremely sorry to inform our fans, that due to unforseen circumstances that are out of our control, we will unfortunately have to cancel our show in Hamburg on November 10th, 2011. This will have no influence on any of the other shows on this upcoming tour."

Unique Tenhi release available for preorder

In tandem with "Saivo", November 25th will see the release of an opulent wooden box including Tenhi's collected works on vinyl. The 33x33x7 cm sized box is limited to 500 copies only. It is made of heavy birch wood and the top comes ornated with a branded Tenhi logo and "The Collected works". Apart from all Tenhi releases in their vinyl version (see below) the box also features a 160(!)-page and approx. 21x15 cm sized book including selected full-color and black/white graphics of all Tenhi album artworks as well as all lyrics and liner notes. Danish modern tech metal heroes MNEMIC just issued the following update:

Hello World,

We are back from the dead space.

The circumstances are abit different now, than what they where 1 year ago in the MNEMIC camp. After playing for 10 years, times do change, and some members of the band have started taking different paths in their personal lives. The first change started with Tomas "Obeast" Koefoed leaving the band, being replaced by Italian bassplayer Simone Bertozzi (EMPYRIOUS, MODERN AGE SLAVERY). Simone has been playing some shows with us and has actually been with the band since Tomas left back in March/April.

The second change, due to personal and musical differences, we have also decided that it is best to part ways, with both Brian "Brylle" Rasmussen and Rune Stigart. Like any relationship, there things that are impossible to work out, and we are extremely sadden by this situation, but there is nothing else to do than to take a step into a different direction. We wish our brothers all the best for the future, and we hope to see them soon again in their own musical and artistic endeavors. Their replacement will be found in the two new members Victor-Ray Salomonsen and Brian Larsen from Danish tech-act VIRA.

"Since I have been a huge In Flames fan since I was a teenager, I was honored to even be considered for a remix of one of their songs from their new chart-topping album. We wanted to create something for the clubs which still embodied the spirit of this album. The Soulless confirm UK tour dates

Modern UK metallers THE SOULLESS (formerly IGNOMINIOUS INCARCERATION) have confirmed a new UK tour with BURY TOMORROW.

The tour is due to kick off on Thursday, December 8th in Bristol, just a few weeks after the band wraps up a tour with CARCER CITY and AGAINST THE FLOOD.

Running wild is back!

It’s finally official: Running Wild are back! To the delight of his countless fans, Captain Rock’n’Rolf has announced the release of the new album, Shadowmaker, seven years after Running Wild’s last studio album, Rogues En Vogue. “My comments in spring 2009 about the demise of Running Wild were absolutely serious at the time. I really needed time out and, to be honest, couldn’t imagine even in January 2011 that I would ever feel like recording a new album again,” says Rolf. “But when I had the inspiration for a best-of album, to which I wanted to contribute four new numbers, I rediscovered how much I enjoy composing. From then on it was only a small step to record a full new studio album.”

Rock’n’Rolf has written ten new tracks for Shadowmaker, among them are the midtempo opener ‘Piece Of The Action’, the uptempo number ‘Shadowmaker’ (“roughly the same pace as ‘Angel Of Mercy’”) and the monumental eight-minute track ‘Dracula’, based on Bram Stoker’s novel and the Christopher Lee movies. “To me, Shadowmaker is a very special album because there was no pressure, timewise or otherwise. I feel it’s clearly audible that this relaxed attitude helped me to write one of the strongest Running Wild recordings of all time.”

Shadowmaker will be released worldwide on Steamhammer/SPV in April 2012, a cooperation which the Running Wild captain refers to as “a real stroke of luck and ideal partnership”. Rock’n’Rolf: “SPV/Steamhammer are a long-established label with an experienced team, so I know that Running Wild are in good hands. Besides, my band and the record company are based in the same german city ( Hannover ), which can’t be a disadvantage for a smooth cooperation.”

Olly Hahn, A&R at Steamhammer/SPV, is equally delighted: “That a style-defining act such as Running Wild signed with us comes close to an accolade. Band leader Rock’n’Rolf is one of the metal scene’s last originals, and we at SPV are unbelievably proud that his choice fell on us.”

Insomnium enter Finnish charts

INSOMNIUM’s new album “One For Sorrow” was released in their home country Finland last Wednesday and entered the charts (again): “This year has been one of the most hectic ones for Insomnium. Even though we haven’t played a single show, we have been constantly working our asses off with the new album. It was a long and endeavouring process and has practically taken all of our free time. The sixth position at official Finnish album chart and first position at Finnish independent music stores’ chart however proves that it was all worth it. Xenosis sign with Wormholedeath

England's progressive Death Metal combo Xenosis has signed a deal with Wormholedeath/Aural Music Group.

At the beginning 2012 the band will enter MathLab Studio in Prato (Italy) with producer Jonathan Mazzeo (The Way Of Purity, Mechanical God Creation). Wormholedeath will release their debut album titled "OF CHAOS & TURMOIL" world-wide through Aural Music Group. Release date is due during the spring of 2012 and will be announced at the end of the current year.

Akphaezya sign with code666

French "Avantgarde Metal" band AKPHAEZYA have inked a new album deal with code666 (part of the Aural Music Group).

The band formed in 2002 to create music without boundaries and released their first demo in 2004 called "Akphaezya - Anthology II: Links from the Dead Trinity" which was re-released later in 2008 by Ascendance/Candelight Records with worldwide critical acclaim.

AKPHAEZYA guitarist Stephan H. commented on the new deal: "We are very proud to work with a cult label like code666, Tte new album "Anthology IV : The tragedy of Nerak" which is mastered by Brian Gardner (Down, Lamb of God, QOTSA...) will be released in March 2012."

code666's Emiliano Lanzoni stated: "AKPHAEZYA are crazy, in the good way. I enjoyed their debut album, but when i received the new songs i was blown away: this is really top notch avantgarde metal: what code666 is renowed for."

AKPHAEZYA are now working on the artwork and video for the new album, titled "Anthology IV : The tragedy of Nerak" and scheduled for march 2012 on code666.

Belgian death metal lunatics ABORTED will be releasing their seventh studio album, “Global Flatline”, on January 23rd in Europe and January 24th in North America, but the band is now giving fans their first preview of what's to come with the release of the album's title track, "Global Flatline"! NOTHNEGAL's debut album is finally in sight! The Maldivian band named their upcoming full-length "Decadence".

"'Decadence' is NOTHNEGAL's first official studio release and the first release featuring the current line-up, with Fufu handling both the guitar and vocal duties, Marco on keyboards and Kevin on drums", guitarist Hilarl comments.

"The writing process of 'Decadence' began in summer 2010 and has been quite a challenge for us as we have taken time to do a lot of experimentation on the sound shifting more towards thrash and progressive metal with industrial elements making it entirely different from the sound we had on our 2009 4 track demo, 'Antidote of Realism'.

"With a completely new and original sound and attitude we feel like we starting again from scratch as we believe NOTHNEGAL have finally discovered its sound with 'Decadence'."

"Decadence" was mixed by Greg Reely (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, DEVIN TOWNSEND) and Ahti Kortelainen (SENTENCED, SONATA ARCTICA), and has been scheduled for a January 20th (January 24th in the US) 2012 release.
