Absolute titans of crushing, primordial death metal, Birmingham's BENEDICTION may be overshadowed by other bands at home (you don't need to be told which ones), but on stage they're without peer.
Over two decades on from their inception, despite some absolutely seminal albums, they may not have been the most prolific outfit when it comes to recording, but 2008's 'ORGANISED CHAOS', their first full-length since 2001, put them right back at the top of European death metal barbarity, with ANAAL NATHRAKH vocalist Dave HUNT's wind-tunnel roar and crashing, rock-fall riffs.
