Dutch heavy/melodic folk metal band CONORACH have announced that their search for a new guitarist is over. After a search spanning 3 months, the band welcomes 19 year old Sadiki Berdah into the fold, after Patrick den Drijver announced his departure last Winter.
Following Patrick's announcement to leave the band on friendly terms to pursue other interests, the band started an extensive campagne on the band's social media platforms and in musician's hangouts in the western part of the Netherlands. Aided by an engaged fanbase applicants soon arose and auditions were held. The band was much impressed by Sadiki's skill, originality in style and passion for music and know for sure they've found their man.
The band has been working on exciting new songs since the Summer of 2010, carefully creeping towards a follow-up of 2008's 'Tales from the Tavern' release. With Sadiki completing CONORACH's line-up, the band is enjoying a refreshed enthusiasm and vigour that will have the band returning to the stage with a vengeance.
The band is to play this year's edition of the RoadGrill festival in Rotterdam with more gigs to follow. |
