Rise Against's newest album, Endgame, has debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart with 85,031 records sold in the album's opening week. According to Billboard, "It easily marks the act's best sales week and chart high. It surpasses its previous record frame, when its last set, 2008's "Appeal to Reason," debuted and peaked at No. 3 off a 65,000 start." The album was released last week via DGC/Interscope records. Endgame has received praise from the media, including Rolling Stone, who noted in their review "Rise Against's mastery of anthemic punk rock is second only to their mastery of being pissed off." |
