One of the things most bands from Eastern Europe have in common is an infinite stife to be innovative and Ador Dorath obey their roots on this selfproduced full-length, being from the Czech Republic. I don’t know whether the people living in Eastern Europe are born with an innate will to be original or whether the musical climate there provides this freedom, but either way I am thankful. Ador Dorath, unlike many bands attempting to be original, never lose sight of their direction and never stray off track allowing the various influences to dominate each other. It’s a lethal symbiosis of unholy Nordic black metal, doom and progressive sounds, and they manage to combine it to make a highly enjoyable musical mash. If you like innovative extreme metal Ador Dorath is definitely worth a listen!
