Progressive Epic Metal featuring a scary looking and singing
Jorn Lande from Ark. A creepy science fiction story based around a guy who
gained acces to his own brain via the use of a computer... The music was
composed by keyboard player Finn Zierler where the melodies are from Jorn's
mind. Both spirits arranged the choir partitions. Musically speaking, this
album is quite complex and varied in its style. The keyboards sets the
mentally obscure and grandiose decor and the lead guitar brings out the
chilling visions of an horrifing inner self distorted mind. The bass and drum
are the brain damage tools of the devil who can be heard singing and screaming
throughout all your cerebral cavities and neurons! This mental asylum is made
of eight pieces. Two of them are instruMentals. "The Devil's Waltz" is not
intended for a classic dance unless you're ready to do so on burning
charcoals! This opus is one hell of an intricate progression of madness. Two
of my upmost disturbing favorites are "Godless And Wicked" and
"Shadowland". A beasty continuity throwing the listener right into the
devil's arm for his infernal waltz. On "Shadowland" Jorn is going to make
you crawl in terror with his greatly effective and terrifying singing
capabilities. Two calmer passages will prevent you from getting a stroke. For
an emergency go to spot number five and seven. If that doesn't work, the
tittle track has a magnificiently deranged choir ready to escort you beyond
twilight ... or leave you shaken in "Perfect Dark" ... where all of your
nightmares end up.
