REVIEW: Black Flame - The Third Revelation Self-financed, 2003
8/10
Black Flame - The Third Revelation - cover art It all begins with some slow guitars in a mysterious way followed by some drums that indicates that it all soon shall begin, the first song is like an intro that goes hand in hand with track nr 2. And it´s there the hell break through and it´s all good. Some old school riffs that are just right and the drums beting it´s rythm, this is like black metal shall be, and the end with the piano in this song is supreme! This is fucking great! The ”intro” speach taken from something on ”First litany of eternal nothingness” is cool, I´m having trouble to find the words for this glories piece of work, this guys have not yet a contract if Iám not mistaken… But they will soon have I think! The intro on the third song is a slow guitar with a little feeling of sadness just followed by a great harmonik riffs and tact on the drums, it´s great to hear that the vocals is good to, both in the black metal and clean vocals. This is well produced and you can hear that this guys have put some thought and energy behind all there songs. But this is a kind of slow and mysterious Black Metal and not ”mangel” all the way Black Metal. The vocalist growls some times to with the sweet mix of the Black Metal vocals. My summarize of all this most be: Buy this album and keep an I on these guys because they are defensive something to count on!
