REVIEW: Blood Haven - Demo Self-financed, 2003
1.5/10
Blood Haven - Demo - cover art There's not too much to say about this three song demo, except I don’t like it one bit. You know when a band needs to mention other great bands on the front sticker that they are tricking you into listening to them. That’s the case with this shitty band. They mention that they are "Blackened Death Metal" in the vein of such great bands as: Carcass, Venom, Kreator, Morbid Angel, and Grave. It’s a shame that those bands get tarnished by this awful band. Blood Haven’s death metal is uninspired death metal which is very plain with plenty of double bass drumming, and the worst vocalist ever. Well maybe not ever, but he’s defiantly terrible. At first I could handle Blood Haven, but as each second passed I hated Blood Haven that much more. One good thing I could say about these three songs is, if they were instrumentals then I would have at least given them a 4 out of 10. The singer has no variety in his vocal delivery, and just screams something awful. I’ve wasted too much time now with Blood Haven. Don’t you even bother.
