REVIEW: Bloodbath - Resurrection Through Carnage Century Media, 2002
9/10
Bloodbath - Resurrection Through Carnage - cover art It all begins with an up-fading intro that is followed by some brutal and hard death metal but still a little soft, this album is death metal to the ground. It has all the parts that death metal shall have! I know that Dan Swanö is the drummer in this band and only if he could lay more energy on this band and the others in the band too, because this is fucking good music. But as always this is probably ”just another project” for the boys in this band, I think it´s sad!!! They probably have about 1000 other projects to lay their time on and of course their main bands. I want more of this band!, tours and more albums. I can also say that I already am looking forward to the next album from this infernal group that does a great job. And if you miss this cd in your collection? Buy it ASAP!. And of course you shall buy ”Breeding Death” that is another album with Bloodbath. My favorite song on this ”Resurrection Through Carnage” album is ”Bathe In Blood” because of its melody and riffs, and of course the vocals that all combine each other very well. In fact has every song their little charm but ”Bathe In Blood” and ”Trail Of Insects” are the songs that appeal to me the most. And give these words a thought: ”I steal your soul, and carve a hole right where your heart once used to be, I watch you die, I hear you cry, it fills my soul with such delight”.
