I had great expectations about this "cult" band, since according to the reviews I had read they were evil, dark, a classic and blah blah blah... well, I finally got their first two albums. "The Day Of Wrath" was a doubt, to say the least, I wasn´t convinced at all. But things are much clearer with this the second album. I can say it´s awful; definitely, the first album was better. "The Final Separation" consists of cheap songs that are between heavy and punkish metal à la Venom or Motörhead, without any trace of good taste or sensitive musical abilities. Boring as hell tracks, nonsense melodies, ridiculous arrangements... We could add some other details as the great stupidity shown in "songs" like "'Don' Andras", and of course the lyrics of the album, which are a token of total idiocy... to complete the massacre, the last song pretends to be epic or something like that, a pretentious ten minutes piece called "The Death Of Gods" where Bulldozer show that they're unable to make good music. If you haven´t ever listened to Bulldozer, that's good and your life will get better, but if you like risk or you enjoy retching, "The Final Separation" will make you puke nicely with their horrible thrash-heavy metal. I think if this album is defined as a milestone of thrash metal or black metal, we will be spitting on the name of the good bands that made the style shine. I don't like to be fooled with the "cult" stuff, "that´s cult and that´s true" etc. so one must be aware of the myths that some people try to impose... and Bulldozer can´t be considered as a must, that´s evident.
