This here is BRUTAL death metal with grind to spice things up a bit. First thing that hits me is the noisy production that really works for Despise on this monster Promo. The growls are as low as you can go and the songs as fast as they get (well you can't beat Napalm Death). This is the type of music that you love or hate, no shady middle ground there. It surely woke me and probably some of the neighbours as well when I first put it on after receiving it. There are only three self-written songs but that's enough to show that Despise stands on their own feet, the Pyrexia cover fits right in and the Bonus track, which takes its form as a Techno remix made by DJ EXX, is the first techno song with death metal vocals I've heard. If you like raw and unpolished Death/Grind I strongly recommend getting your hands on Despise! Like it says in the Bio: UNCOMPROMISING BRUTAL DEATH/GRIND MADNESS!!!
