Although Dirty Shirt have in common 4 members of the Rhetorica, they play a complete different style of music, a mixture of techno, electro, industrial and metal. The final result is absolutely horrible. All they manage is make our ears suffer!!!
If I hadn't listened to the amazing Rhetorica's "Ganduri" I would have thought that these people have a little relation to music!
Maybe their music would fit better as a soundtrack of a computer game or to an electro party but definitely not to ears of an average Metal fan. Unfortunately there is no musical "Revolution" since this demo fluctuates to the same levels with "Different", namely gets bored down. By the way I wonder whether the cover photo is from the Romanian revolution of 1989-90.
The first two songs "Revolution" and "Break Up" have some interesting elements. For example the progressive forms of "Revolution" and the main refrain of "Break Up" but the electro and industrial themes nail the songs down. The next song "Skizo" is addressed to Schizoid ears.
As at "Different" demo the best moment is the first version cover of the folk song "UB". Despite the minor partial changes this version doesn't seem to have many differences from the respective one of "Different".
In a few words I would reservedly recommend Dirty Shirt only to industrial alternative (and so on) metal fans. The rest should check Rhetorica.
