First of I have to say that we ought to congratulate
bands like DISARM
GOLIATH. It takes the balls of an elephant to live in the
UK and have
the
guts to play this type of classic Heavy Metal - for several
years
already -
while still in the very deep "underground". God only
knows how much
shit
these guys must have encountered with line up changes
-they are looking
for
a guitar player as we speak, so if you are one,
contact them- and smart
ass
type of comments from the press and even from
the "average" "Metal" fan
for
playing the music that they do. But all
credit to them they have not
been
detered by any difficulty. They seem to
have the desired attitude of
the
"Metal warrior" and they did not give
up. They polished - THE most
appropriate word that I could use - their older
- very rough sounding -
material and along with some new songs they have now
released their
worthy
debut album. (Sensing that they are not going to sell
massive amounts
of
records they have opted to press some CD-Rs that look
like proper CDs -
so
don't worry about that, just buy the album if your
are a fan of the
classic
Metal sound). I also need to congratulate them for
following my advice
and
sending the most complete promo package -that
contained a T-Shirt,
posters
and flyers. Well done guys! You are a band
that deserves to be
supported. We
will be playing 'Arm The Gods'
regularly. Keep the Metal
faith!
