This band called Disgorge should not be mistaken for the American band with the same name. Instead, these guys are veterans on the Mexican death metal scene and have been around since the end of 1993. What is even more impressive is that they have had the same line-up since then. Throughout their career they have toured Central America a couple of times and also opened up for international acts like Cannibal Corpse, Macabre, Incantation and Kataklysm. Disgorge is to my knowledge the only band that Dave Rotten have taken with him from Repulse Records to his new label Xtreem Music. "Necrholocaust" is the third album from the band and while listening to it, it shows that the band have had the same line-up for many years. The music is performed with perfection, it is ultra-tight and there are no mistakes made. The vocalist Antimo Buonnano (also in Ravager and Demonized) is one of the finer death metal vocalists in the brutal school and he has a remarkable strength in his voice even when doing deep guttural vocals. It is a very dark and brooding death metal release with a furious pace from beginning to end. One of the finer albums from the Mexican metal scene and recommended to fans of fast and brutal death metal. Stand-out tracks: "Ravenous Funeral Carnage", "Necrholocaust", "Excremential Lust".
