REVIEW: First Human Ferro - Adamnation Eibon Records, 2007
2.5/10
First Human Ferro - Adamnation - cover art One more noisy CD from the Eibon factory. Since I must get into details, let´s provide you the reader with some descriptive elements of this bizarre and uninteresting release. A disturbing noise is placed on the top of the sound and it doesn´t leave throughout the album. A distorted recitative is behind the mass; some passages are spoken in Japanese but believe me if I say that´s just an accidental curiosity. Despite the Japanese trait, the souls behind this sonic attack (following more strictly than ever the meaning of that word) are apparently from Ukraine. Noise and speech. Ehm... right. Well, that´s maybe an intro. Argh, too long for an intro... Let´s wait for the second track, giving the benefit of doubt... oh! A glimpse of light... Strangely enough, the second track and occasional moments bestow us with a glance into ambient music, though painted on a harsh noise canvas. This is more or less acceptable, balancing the annoying ambience with synths. Just a mirage, though, for the samples and loops always surmount the notes and reign “Adamnation” supreme. Most of the time music is just a fainted wish or an illusion; sometimes there are some hardly audible passages under the annoying body of the sound. To sum it all up: not as noisy as other releases recently heard by me, not enough music to rate it with a decent mark. I can´t see the point in making a CD sound like a steel mill in rush hour, frankly... if you miss the symphony of a Ruhr factory, or you love Industrial Revolution badly, this album is probably waiting for you.
