I sat down today to write about a record that impressed me more than I ever would have expected. FlyLow Organization is definitely a band that deserves all my admiration and respect for what they’ve managed to pull together music-wise. The two track single entitled „Brand New Boy” includes a very interesting and original cover of „While My Guitar Gently Weeps” by George Harrison and a song called „Brand New Boy” - this one written by the guys themselves. Is there a perfect description of the style they are playing? Definite NO. This is the sound of the future. I can’t really explain why, but the way these two songs are welded together is something that is surely going to shape the form of music in the years to come. Even though there’s classic influences behind these creations the guys still manage to deliver a brand new package and a brand new product. Melodic, intense, sweetly heavy and very modern are the concepts that could give a good description of the sound FlyLow Organization is capable of creating. Not much technicality but very much attention to the music and the final outcome. Definite A+ material in my opinion. The sound probabbly wouldn’t appeal to those in search of power, aggression and musical technique, but I have to admit that this is one band worth keeping an eye on. The recording and production are very good and the songs are also very captivating – something quite rare in todays music, and it’s exactly what a future star band requires (besides loads of luck).
All those who like melody, originality and very carefully „carved” music are advised to check out FlyLow Organization’s project(s). It was a pleasure for me, and it won’t be a disappointment to anyone.
