Nevada based Guttural Secrete debuts into the brutal death metal scene with the four pieces of ground meat that compose Artistic Creation of Cranial Stumps. The first track, Slit Into Succulence, opens with an intro (from Gangs of NY if I’m not wrong) that prepares you for what is about to come, a furious buffet of everything rotted and gore, deliciously seasoned with neck breaking riffs, elegantly performed blast beats and double bass explosions, and a vocalist that erupts nothing but putrefaction through his throat. Then, when you feel the demented party is over, Ejaculating Obscenity, the second track opens its way into your brain until the end of the CD when you the only thing you have left is a deep void in yourself and the reason is very simple, as most good things, this CD doesn’t last long and you just want to play it over and over again, which I have actually been doing since my CD player met Guttural Secrete. In few words, the reason I love this band is that these psychos compile in their music the best of all my favorite brutal death metal bands, combining raw brutality with well executed tempo changes and more Gore than you can eat in one sitting, so if your thing is American style of brutal death metal, don’t hesitate and get your hands on Guttural Secrete’s Artistic Creation of Cranial Stumps, your morbid tastes will be grateful!!!!!!
