A death metal band hailing from Poland tells you a lot. It tells that you will be a victim of well played, heavy and fast music for the next 35 minutes. Sounds like a stereotype which has a lot of good in it. This is where we start.
Hate has played its satanic and anti-christian death metal quite a while for now. However, frontman Adam the First Sinner still seems to be pissed off as the album is quite a spurt. Provided with the trademark polished sounds with snappy kick drum and crystal clear guitars these men let their blasphemous beast loose and give no remorse. The songs are mostly fast and grinding but have their breakdowns with occasional industrial loops which give a nice extra kick to a lot of the songs. This formula is in use most of the time but does not take away the fact that every song is dark, amazingly aggressive and has its hooks, which tracks like “Necropolis” and “Malediction” show very well.
Without breaking new ground or making an exception to the Polish scene, Hate has put out a merciless album. For an average death metal consumer “Anaclasis” is a good dose of fast and aggressive death metal in the vein of Hate Eternal and Deicide. There is no doubt that Hate fans instead will find this a bigger deal.
