With 'Seeds of Fate' they just (2006) released their 4th full-length album. Developing their sound over the past albums from somewhat normal Death/Thrash Metal to something they call "Atmospheric Death Metal", creating an own style with their second output ('Humanoid', 2001), which they call Cyber Death Metal.
The actual album is even more than that. It´s not only Death Metal, Industrial or Cyber... I´d simply call it Hybrid Metal. Perfect Mixture of different genres. You´ve got the clinical and cold sound of Industrial from time to time plus electronical parts here and there, then typical Deathmetal grunts, a female vocalist, who reminds me a bit of Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) from time to time. The "war" between grunts and the female vocals add a slight Gothic touch, without getting too deep into the Gothic genre. Sounds pretty confusing and like a weird mixture, when you read it. But believe me, it works,so some songs are catchy tunes, despite their complexity and mixture of genres. ("Genesis of Destruction" e.g.) Unfortunately they don´t have a drummer, but the drum-computer is luckily not that boring as lots of other drumcomputers I had to listen to in other recordings. It even fits to the anorganic style in a way. But still, I´d be interested in how this band would sound with a real drummer. What a pity, that the production is not as good as compositians and musicians.
To sum it all up, this album is surely not for those, who´re looking for easy-listening stuff, since there are lots of different elements on this CD, where you´ll have to spend some effort to get into it. But you can be sure, to have a lot of fun with this CD, once you got into it.
