American black metal the Scandinavian way put together by 4 guys (Bleak, Blisserred, IceSickKill and Mammoth) with a very cool image (yes, you’ve got it… Ice, snow, winter, blasphemic coldness…), could that be good? Well it is! I can’t believe that this is a demo. It’s just so amazingly professional in every way! The production is great, and the music…! These guys really know what they are doing. I don’t like when bands take their own image to serious and ICE seems to be possessed by winter and that kind of scare me and make me think that they only are ridiculous and don’t concentrate on the music but…

The guitar harmonies are incredible and behind them the bass, rhythm guitars and drums are pounding like something I’ve never heard before and they compensate and complement each other great! The vocals are also fantastic and exactly what this kind of music is meant to play behind. Fast and full of melodies and routine and tight as hell (but cold as the Antarctic) ICE is indeed. And because I like Naglfar’s “Sheol” I must like this when it sounds so similar, and I do. I really like this. Don’t matter how frostbitten these guys are.
