The Texas based band
Inbreed doesn't care what is trendy or popular at the moment which is a
virtue few people worry about today when money and only money rules the world.
This is the latest recording from the band and their sound is almost
identically the same as it was when they released their last self-produced cd
"Bastards Forest" in 1999. They have decided that the world should be shown
why thrash metal was so popular back in the late 1980's when bands like
Exodus, Testament, Megadeth and others started rising. Energy, speed, heavy
riffs and dark lyrics are the trademarks of Inbreed and they will never
surrender to the trend. If you are into the 80's thrash sound you will surely
like this album. The sound is not perfect but it is still very good for a
self-financed release. Thrash metal is definitely not the most popular metal
subgenre today but there are plenty of good bands out there who still fight to
get themselves known and Inbreed is one of them. One thing that separates them
from a lot of the bands from the 80's is that they don't indulge in an
excessive use of, often useless, solos which was very common back
then.
