REVIEW: Inhume - In For The Kill Osmose Productions, 2003
7/10
Inhume - In For The Kill - cover art This is intense, bonegrinding grindcore inspired by bands like Carcass, Napalm Death and Terrorizer. These Dutch guys have been together since 1994 and have featured musicians who have played with other well-known bands from the country such as God Dethroned and Sinister. Now it's time for their second (de)composition of light speed songs with ultraguttural vocals and sick Autopsy styled lyrics. They have also signed a new record deal with French specialists Osmose Productions who always managed to find extreme quality acts and should be able to give Inhume the support which they need and deserve. 16 tracks in 32 minutes means that these guys shred away at a furious pace right from the start. Not the absolute best the genre has to offer but it is well played, tight and definitely of interest if this is your cup of blood (sorry, my puns get worse and worse, I know...). No rest given, no prisoners taken, this is music exclusively meant for those of you twisted individuals who are "in for the kill".
