If you analyze the situation of a country like Colombia, that has been immersed in a civil war for more than 5 decades so far, plagued with violence, corruption, poverty and many more shit, the less you can expect is that an environment so suitable for death and everything hatred and frustration related would spawn incredibly angry and violent music, and Internal Suffering have been demonstrating the scene throughout the years that this analogue might be correct. After having released two incredible CD’s and a mini CD that had taken the underground death metal scene off guard, the violent Colombian quartet, attacks the scene again, this time with an album that shows the touring was worth it and had brought a tighter and more mature band that definitely seems to come with all the intention of stealing the throne of South America’s most brutal band. Chroronzonic Force Domination’s nine songs are a delightful journey into a realm of Sumerian mythology, Lovecraftian worlds and mystical darkness, seasoned with pure blasting brutality. The nonstop blast beats, neck breaking riffs and gutturals growls brought by these death metal maniacs will satisfy the brutal tastes of those into unmerciful violent metal. Another point to highlight about this album is that besides being their most aggressive and mature recording to date, the top notch production courtesy of Mr. Erik Rutan catches the essence of Internal Suffering’s musical fury in a way that once you start listening to this album you just can’t stop doing so and after the 33 minutes of mayhem are done you just wanna play it again and again. In a nutshell, Choronzonic Force Domination is one of those albums that deserve your attention because it brings all the goods, excellent cover artwork, top notch production and a full dose of death metal the way it is meant to be: brutal.
