REVIEW: Kamelot - Dominion Noise Records, 1996
7.5/10
Kamelot - Dominion - cover art Very nice high-quality progressive metal from Kamelot. Great keyboard orchestral arrangements, great vocals and some fine melodies from these guys who really use the new technology to make the music as good as it can possibly get. Lyrics and band based on the story of King Arthur and the knights of the round table. Very good vocals, fast melodic music that really brings out the best of their instruments. Kamelot is a power metal band of the American school which means that the music will be a little heavier and darker than most European ones. The vocals are not as over-the-top either which makes this a whole lot more interesting in my ears. Good work by Kamelot but there is a lot more to come from them I´m sure.
